Excellent service and food. We had Samosas, they were hot and crispy and very flavorful, not greasy! My husband had Aloo Paratha and Chana Masala, both wonderfully spiced. I had Paneer Tikka Masala and it was most delicious! The Masala tea and Kulfi were delicious too. Enough leftovers to take back to Murrieta. Too bad this restaurant is so far away. Highly recommend! One of a kind.

Always love this place! Service is top-notch. Our server asked our desired spice level and we said spicy and he kind of reacted in a way that made us question our decision, so we bumped back down to medium. He offered to bring the spice separately so we could manage it ourselves. We ended up dumping it into the lamb vindaloo and it was incredible. We told him we were able to handle the heat and he was impressed! It was busy but not overly so and they have nice sized tables for dining in. Always enjoy a refreshing mango lassi too! We always enjoy ourselves here! Thanks, Koyla!

Loved our dinner here. The quality of service and cuisine was outstanding. We got lamb byriani, chicken tikka masala, a side of rice, and an order of chili garlic naan. We don't have food like this where I live but I wish we did. I hope I didn't offend them with how much food was leftover to take home-- I had a two hour drive to get through and needed to get going, and I wanted to have leftovers for my next meal. The inside was more casual than I'd expected, which was nice. It was comforting and pleasant, not too brightly lit. They are doing a great job making this a nice place to eat.

Best Indian restaurant in the IE! They always give free chapati and tomato chutney for the table. Foods not to oil heavy either, which is nice if ur someone whose sensitive to that. Top dish out of the 6 I have tried: the bhindi masala!

don't even get me started on the Samosa Chaat... absolutely DELICIOUS!!! It was sweet and savory and everything inbetween. This place is beyond underrated for a Sunday afternoon, because the flavors of every dish was beyond phenomenal and exactly what you would expect from quality Indian cuisine. you won't find anything under-spiced and so many beautifully intense flavors MMMMH SO SO GOOD. The chicken masala is to DIE FOR as well with its sweet and savory taste, and the garlic naan was incredibly soft. Please give this place a try, and the service was wonderful and attentive! Will be back :)

My husband and I are newcomers to Rancho and eagerly on the lookout for our go to Indian spot. We've enjoyed some of the best Indian restaurants in the Bay Area and LA and are hoping to find something close. After dining here, our search unfortunately continues, but we still enjoyed our dinner: Fish Pakora (4/5) Husband's favorite dish. I thought it was tasty but preferred a slightly crispier batter. The tangy sauce was good. Palak Paneer (4/5) Good flavor. Could've been a tad creamier for my taste, but I enjoyed this the most. Malai Kofta (2.5/5) A tough critique here, as it's my favorite dish. It lacked the density and sweetness that I savored elsewhere. Others might like this one though if they've never tried it, I think I've just been spoiled with other versions. Still glad we came! Might try the tikka masala if we drop by again. Atmosphere was great and server was very nice.

I have eaten Indian food all over Southern california and even in SF. This is hands down the best Indian food you will find in Southern California. My girlfriend had a bad experience with Indian food and never wanted to try it again, she was not impressed and was just disappointed. After convincing her to try this place out (it would have been both of our first time at Koyla) she was blown away and she is now obsessed with Indian food. We have always been served by Kaur, she always provides the best service and makes you feel like you are the most important customer. They are humble, attentive and the food is always top tier and consistently amazing. I'd give this place 10 stars if I had the option. Definitely a must have!

The place is slightly more classy than most other Indian restaurants. Dark ambient lighting and jazz music. Sometimes they do play soothing Indian music. The service is more attentive than others. They make sure you get the service you wanted without annoying you. The price point slightly higher by a dollar or two, but reasonable for the overall what you are getting. The food itself isn't bad, I felt I had better. I would rate the taste in the 70 percentile. The butter chicken sauce was exquisite. A little heavy on the tomato side. The chicken is sliced in 1/8" strips approximately. The meat is somewhat tender; fresh foe sure. The portion is good, but i wish I had more sauce to go with the nann, roti, or rice. Overall. It's a place you should give it a try. I give it a solid 4.1 out of 5.
